Voluntary Sector Knowledge Network (VSKN)

Your Online Support

The Voluntary Sector Knowledge Network (VSKN) is a website designed to help leaders build the capacity of non profit organizations. It is of specific interest to smaller organizations, especially those that are volunteer-led and those in rural and remote areas. The website address is: http://www.vskn.ca.

On the Site

Before any resource is posted on the webiste, it is reviewed to determine whether it is one of "the best of the best" on a particular topic. The following are some of the topics you'll find on the site; each has several sub-topics as well.

About VSKN

VSKN began in 2001 with the developmental funding from the British Columbia Ministry of Community Development, Cooperatives and Volunteers. In 2002, it received two years of funding from the Government of Canada through the Office of Learning Technologies at Human Resources Development Canada. We are working on longer-term sustainability for VSKN.
